Heart disease is a leading cause of death for Canadian Women – and most are unaware of the risk.

As the primary cardiac care provider for Waterloo Region and beyond, St. Mary’s General Hospital recognizes a responsibility to educate our community in the prevention heart disease.

In an effort to encourage awareness and conversation about cardiac health, Red Day is an annual social media awareness initiative which encourages the community to WEAR RED in support of St. Mary’s and the women they love!

Participation is simple!
1. Wear Red!
2. Snap a photo
3. Decorate using the Red Day app
4. Post with #RedDayFriday - include in your post how you will aim to improve your heart health!
